     Connect America is seeking a Billing Specialist in Pawtucket, RI. Functions of the job include enter charges or create invoices for all clients, reconcile accounts receivable, and follow collections processes to troubleshoot and resolve open balance issues.


    • Handle inbound and outbound Client calls
      • Providing excellent customer service
    • Billing all State funded/Medicaid type agencies monthly prior to the 15th
    • Follow up on any outstanding aging items by either
      • Resubmitting claims for payment
      • Writing up an internal credit
    • Following up on Pending items
    • Data Entry- client information as needed into different portals
      • For example, HSYS
    • Support to other team members when/where is needed
    • Scanning documents
    • Communicating any delays in deadlines with the Billing Manager
    • Maintain confidentiality of all information with the Business office
    • Perform other duties assigned by the Billing Manager


    • High School diploma and/or GED
    • Requires 1-3 years’ experience in call center and/or customer service-related position
    • Requires 1 or more years of claim experience
    • Working Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
