    Start Date: January 6th

    Responsibilities

    • Contact customers with outstanding balances by telephone in a professional, sensitive, and understanding manner 
    • You will be responsible for researching discrepancies, calculating prorated balances, and overcoming obstacles/objections for payment 
    • Process payments and record detailed payment arrangements 
    • Process and review account adjustments  
    • Perform other assigned duties necessary to support the Collections Department 

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma (or GED) required, college degree a plus 
    • Collections or relevant customer facing experience (minimum 1 year) 
    • Strong telephone communication/verbal negotiation skills with ability to communicate in a professional, positive manner 
    • Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team 
    • Ability to set goals, meet deadlines, and remain calm under pressure 
    • Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
