    Connect America is looking for a talented, detail oriented, and enthusiastic copywriter and multitasker extraordinaire to join our digital marketing team. Our copywriter will work closely with our, web designers, marketing team, and development team to assist in the planning and execution of various digital media and campaigns.

     

    The ideal copywriter possess the ability to expertly shift their voice for varying brands and industries and has a knack for understanding the necessary messaging, voice, and tone each unique brand strategy requires. They must be able to grasp the ideal “language” for each particular client and execute this voice throughout all aspects of the campaign: from crafting social media posts and paid advertising copy to assessing, reimagining, and rewriting entire websites. They must also fully understand the mechanics of language — style, grammar, syntax, editing, etc. and have a defined and well-backed answer on their usage of the oxford comma.  Additionally, they will be a lover of books and an avid reader with a thirst for harnessing and perfecting their craft. Candidates must have a proven track record for delivering quality copy on commercial direct to consumer websites and digital experiences.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Work with the product and marketing teams to redesign the content on all the consumer and company websites, including the brand messaging
    • Production of social media posts and editorial content
    • Internal brand messaging and sales scripts
    • Editing of copy and materials that gets emailed and sent out to consumers
    • Copy for all digital advertising

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
    • Exceptional writing samples
    • Direct to Consumer Digital marketing experience
    • Brand messaging experience
    • Flexibility and eagerness to learn, and use new and emerging technologies
    • Knowledge of the Adobe Suite is a plus
    • Knowledge of WordPress or other CMS systems a plus
